What is the role of a performer, in our contemporary time? What happens if the line between lies and truth gets lost? Is there a possible encounter between television language and poetry? Or is a break and a detachment inevitable? Starting from the experience of Sappho and the thiasus, the performance “Saffo Le Molte” investigates, through an exhausting and hypnotic movement, the artist’s possibilities of communicating with an audience increasingly fragmented and clouded by the entertainment industry.
